Amber Room Run from the Sun 5K

 

Thursday evening, August 19 – 6:30 p.m. – Limited to 500 Runners!!!!!!

 

Bring your friends and coworkers to run a challenging race then kick back and enjoy the party! 

 

Have a great time and help us raise money for Ann’s Place.

 

Race Course (1st half downhill 2nd half uphill)

Certified 5K (3.1 miles) course runs from the Amber Room to Candlewood Lake and back.  Passes scenic water views, stately homes, and old lake communities.

 

Post Race Party

After the race unwind and enjoy a post race outdoor barbeque, ice cold beverages, enjoy music from DJ Rich with Summit Entertainment and much more.

 

Tech T-shirts to First 250 entrants – New for 2010

Tech t-shirts to first 250 entrants.  Cotton shirts to all other preregistered runners and first 100 raceday entrants.

Given to top 3 finishers in the following age groups (M & F):

 

12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

 

Directions

 

From New York State
I-84 to CT.  Take Exit 5.  Straight at end of Ramp.  Stay in right lane.  Descend to bottom of hill (traffic light).  Straight across (follow Rt. 37).  Left at fork (North Street Shopping Center/Rt. 37).  Amber Room Colonnade sign on right 1 ¾ miles.  Right after sign (Stacey Road).  Driveway 500 feet on right.


From the East: Connecticut and Massachusetts
I-84 West  to Exit 6.  Right at end of ramp.  Left at fork (North Street Shopping Center/Rt. 37.  Amber Room Colonnade sign on right in1 3/4 miles.  Right after sign (Stacey Road).  Driveway 500 feet on right.
