Citizens Bank, The
Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Business
District, YMCA and Oddfellows Playhouse are sponsoring a unique
family oriented festival and road race. The festival
features live music by PartyLine, Oddfellows street performers,
ARTFARM's Circus for a Fragile Planet, moonwalk,
giant slide and extended hours at Kidcity Children's Museum.
Throughout the event, music and dancing entertainment will be
provided by PartyLine, a nine piece group with some members
hailing from Middletown. Their music will cover R&B,
Motown, Swing, Oldies, Jazz standards and much more for all ages
to enjoy.

Technical running shirts will be given to the first 500 5K
entrants. The first 100 participants in the Kids Run will
receive cotton t-shirts. Showers will be available after the race
at the Middlesex County YMCA. All participants are invited
to enjoy our post race snack, live music, street performers and
awards ceremony. Post race snack.

Competition Winning
team gets to display the Pratt & Whitney Team trophy until next year's race.
Teams can be of unlimited size - three fastest runners determine team time.
Fastest team time wins. Companies can enter an unlimited number of
teams. Team members must work for the organization. Applications
must be sent together with a team roster. Prize for largest team.

Awards top three race
finishers in each division. Divisions are Men & Women, 12
& under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ and Wheelchair.
The first male and female Middletown resident also receive awards.
All finishers of the Kids Run will receive ribbons.

| Directions: From
Hartford: Take I-91 South to Exit 22 (left exit) onto Route 9
South. Follow Route 9 for about 5 Miles. Take right at 2nd light
(Washington St/Route 66). Left at 1st light onto Main Street.
From
Old Saybrook: Take I-95 North to exit 69 onto Route 9 North
(towards Middletown). Follow Route 9 about 25 miles. Take left
at Route 66/Washington Street exit (1st light on Route 9). Left at 1st
light onto Main Street.From
New York/New Haven: Take I-95 North to I-91N. Take exit 18
onto Route 66 East (becomes Washington Street). Continue on Route 66
for about 6 miles until you see the "Welcome to Middletown" sign on the
green to your right. Continue for 4 lights (just past KidCity Museum)
At 4th light take right onto Main Street.
Parking:
From Hartford or Old Saybrook: Route 9 north or
south to exit 15. Take immediate left after railroad tracks onto DeKoven
Drive. First right onto Court Street. Parking available at municipal lot
immediately past courthouse or, if full, cross Main Street and parking
available in Middlesex Mutual lot, also on Court Street.
From points west: Take Route 66 east. At
Veteran's Green go right on High Street and left on College Street.
Cross Broad Street. Parking is available in Middlesex Mutual lot on left.
